Independence Day Celebration 2026

 “A nation grows stronger when its young minds are inspired to dream, serve and lead with pride.” 

State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and a deep sense of national pride. The celebrations witnessed the gracious presence of Mr. Anmol Singh, Managing Director, Group of State Public Schools, as the Chief Guest along with benign presence of the Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl. 

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting, salutation by the school houses, council members and NCC students, and the rendition of the National Anthem. The atmosphere resonated with pride and patriotism as students presented a vibrant array of cultural performances celebrating the spirit of freedom and the glorious heritage of India.

The programme featured patriotic songs, dance performances, Street play and concluded with an energetic Bhangra performance. It reflected the students’ love for the nation and their enthusiasm to contribute towards a progressive India. The performances beautifully highlighted the values of unity, courage, sacrifice and responsible citizenship.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Anmol Singh appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged the young generation to become responsible, compassionate and progressive citizens. He emphasised that true freedom comes with responsibility and urged students to contribute meaningfully towards the nation’s growth.

The celebration also witnessed the presence of the school leadership, teachers, parents and students, who joined together in commemorating the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and celebrating the remarkable journey of independent India.

The President, Dr Narotam Singh,  Vice President, Dr Gagandeep Kaur , Managing Director Mr Anmol Singh of Group of State Public Schools along with the Principal Mrs Savina Bahl appreciated the dedicated efforts of the staff and students in making the celebration memorable, meaningful and inspiring.
