Selection in District Level Volleyball competition 2026

 Success is the result of dedication, teamwork and the courage to give your best on the field. 

The talented girls of State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. brought immense pride to the school with their commendable performance at the Zonal Level. Demonstrating remarkable skill, confidence and team spirit, the Under-14 Girls’ Football Team secured an impressive Second Position at Government Senior Secondary School, Hazra. Their spirited performance reflected their hard work, disciplined preparation and determination to compete with excellence.

Adding another feather to the school’s cap, the Under-17 Girls’ Volleyball Team clinched the Third Position at KMV College, Jalandhar. The players displayed excellent coordination, sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the competition, proving that consistent practice and a positive competitive spirit pave the way for success.

The school also celebrated a significant individual achievements both in Football and Volleyball as three promising football players were selected at the District Level. The selected players are Dayavivika (Class VII), Shivangi (Class VII) and Yashita Sharma (Class VIII). Also, the six talented girls have qualified for the District Level Volleyball competition through their impressive performance. The selected players are Sneha (Class X), Prabhjot (Class X), Akshita (Class XI), Bavneet (Class X), Anikajeet Kaur (Class IX), and Avni  (Class IX).Their selection is a proud milestone and reflects their exceptional sporting abilities, commitment and potential to perform at higher levels. 

These achievements highlight the school’s strong emphasis on holistic development, where sports are encouraged as an integral part of education. Participation in competitive sports helps students develop leadership, discipline, resilience, teamwork and the confidence to face challenges with determination. 

The President, Dr Narotam Singh, the Vice President Dr. Gagandeep Kaur of Group Of State Public Schools along with the Principal Mrs Savina Bahl  congratulated the young athletes and their coaches Mr. Sunil, Ms. Ritika and Mr. Kuldeep for their remarkable achievements and appreciated their dedication and sporting spirit. The Management encouraged the girls to continue working hard, nurture their talents and set higher goals, inspiring fellow students to participate actively in sports and strive for excellence at every level.
