Foundation day celebration 2026

“Education is not just the learning of facts, but the training of the mind and heart.”
State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, marked the beginning of the academic session 2026–27 with devotion and enthusiasm on the occasion of its Foundation Day and the festival of Baisakhi. The session commenced with the sacred recitation of Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji Path.
Students, teachers, and parents gathered to seek the blessings of the Almighty. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was respectfully welcomed with a shower of flowers, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
Students presented Shabad Kirtan, adding to the devotional spirit. The ceremony concluded with an Ardaas for a successful and healthy year ahead, followed by the distribution of Karah Prasad and Langar.
The event was graced by School President Dr. Narottam Singh, Vice President Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Principal Mrs. Savina Behl, Vice Principal Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur, and the teaching staff. 
The dignitaries highlighted the importance of Gurbani teachings, encouraging values like compassion, truth, and hard work. Students were also informed about the historical and spiritual significance of Baisakhi, including the formation of the Khalsa Panth.
The Foundation Day also served as a moment to reflect on the school’s achievements and future goals. The event beautifully blended spiritual, cultural, and institutional values, making the beginning of the session truly meaningful and inspiring.
