Traffic awareness activity
"Safety is not just a slogan, it's a way of life."
State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, organized a lively and educational Traffic Awareness Activity for its Kindergarten students, fostering early understanding of road safety and responsible behaviour.
The activity aimed to instill crucial traffic rules and regulations in a fun and interactive manner. Teachers and staff created an engaging setup with miniature traffic signals, zebra crossings, and toy vehicles to simulate real-life road scenarios. Children enthusiastically participated in role-plays, learned the importance of using crosswalks, understanding traffic lights and wearing seat belt.
The event concluded with a pledge by the young learners to follow traffic rules, ensuring safety for themselves and others. Parents and staff lauded the initiative, recognizing its importance in creating a foundation for lifelong traffic discipline.
The President of the Group of State Public Schools Dr Narotam Singh, the Vice President, Dr Gagandeep Kaur and the Principal Mrs Savina Bahl appreciated efforts of the mentors to make the students aware about the traffic rules in an enthusiastic manner.
