Holi is a special time of year to remember those who are close to our hearts with splashing colors!
State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt celebrated the festival of colours holi with the vibrant and energetic kids of Kindergarten with the flowers also marked the celebration of Hola Mohalla.
The festival of Hola Mohalla was established by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, in the late 17th century. It was intended to be a day for Sikhs to demonstrate their military skills in mock battles and exercises, as well as to foster a sense of unity and camaraderie among the community. Guru Gobind Singh Ji organised the first Hola Mohalla as a gathering for military exercises and contests to ensure that his followers were always prepared.Holi is the most colorful and vibrant festival.
Holi is marked with much fun and fervour throughout the country and other parts of the world. This is the celebration of the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘bad’. The teachers enjoyed the joy associated with Holi and marked the beginning of a new season that suggests hope and resurgence.
The tiny tots were told about the festival that Holi is one of the most wonderful times of the year to wish your near and dear ones with some inspiring messages to cheer them up.
President and Vice- President of the Group Of State Public Schools Dr. Narotam Singh and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur along with Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl, wished all Happy Holi and prayed that may this Holi bring prosperity and success to all.
