An activity on Vegetable Market was organised by State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. for our young learners
We don't need a melting pot in this country, folks. We need a salad bowl. In a salad bowl, you put in the different things. You want the vegetables - the lettuce, the cucumbers, the onions, the green peppers - to maintain their identity. You appreciate differences.
What would be a better way for letting kids know about vegetables and shopping ethics than having an activity on Vegetable Market which was organised by State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. for our young learners.
A total Vegetable market scene was created where these tiny tots came and bought vegetables using Indian currency. Balance Scale were used to to imbibe in them as how the vegetables are weighted by the Vegetable vendors. They also learnt about the English names of vegetables. It was a lively activity with lots of fun, frolic and aesthetic values.
The President Sir, Dr. Narotam Singh, Vice President Madam, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl were overjoyed with the excitement seen in the market and exclaimed it as A one game.
