Twelve Students won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in Punjab Khel Mela, Block Level Athletic Competition

 Those who dare to dive into the oceans, often finds treasures; no one ever heard.

State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. profoundly participated in Punjab Khel Mela,Block Level Athletic Competition, where participants brought laurels to the school by winning medals at different levels. Twelve Students won Gold, Silver and Bronze 

In Under-21 category, Ashminder shone by winning Gold medal in High Jump while Tanpreet magnificently won Gold medal in Discuss Throw. Jaskaran got Silver medal in 1500m race and bronze medal in 5000 m race.

In Under-17 category, Amritpal Kaur made the school proud by winning Gold medal in Shotput, Javelin Throw and Discuss Throw. Manmit won Silver medal in Discuss Throw and Bronze medal in Shotput. Anamika won 2nd position in 3000m race while Jasnoor and Gursharan Preet Singh won third position in 3000 m race. Dheeraj won Bronze medal in 400m race while Akshit Rana got third position in Shotput.

Under-14 category, Sartaj in Shotput, Abhi Suman in 60 m race and Biney Suman in 600 m race got third position.

Participants acquiring gold medals and silver medals have also qualified for District level. 

The President and Vice- President, Dr. Narotam and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur of Group of State Public Schools along with the Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl were overjoyed with the fantastic performance of the participants and congratulated everyone for  imbibing in them the true sportsmanship spirit and making the name of the school shine in the galaxy of sports. They also appreciated the efforts put by the Sports teachers, Mr. Sanjay, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur and Mr. Inderjit Singh.
