Republic Day Celebration

 Freedom is indeed the most expensive as it came after the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, so never take it for granted.

State Public School, Jalandhar cantt. celebrated 74th Republic Day by carrying Inter - House Patriotic Singing Competition.

The competition was marvelous and heart touching as each choir was at it's best and reminded of sacrifices done by our freedom fighters. There was a clear cut message that freedom should not be taken for granted as it is being achieved with the freedom fighters' blood and soul.Republic Day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950 and it is important because it ensures that those who make decisions on behalf of the public fairly represent public opinion. It also sets out the ways in which those who exercise power may be held accountable to the people they serve. 

After the melodious and soothing singing competition sahibzada Zorawar Singh House bagged the first position while sahibzaade Ajit Singh House got the second position.

The President of Group of State Public Schools, Dr. Narotam Singh,the Vice  President, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl were overjoyed with the performance and congratulated everyone on 74th Republic Day.
