Teej celebration

 "Festivals are not just about rituals, they are about reconnecting with our roots and rejoicing in culture."

The vibrant festival of Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Kindergarten students of State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt., under the loving guidance of their mentors. The little ones came dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, bringing alive the colorful spirit of Punjab.

The day was filled with joy and learning as children took part in Teej rituals, adorning their hands with mehendi, and participating in lively Giddha performances. The school premises echoed with laughter, music, and festive cheer, giving the young learners a joyful introduction to cultural traditions.

The President, Dr Narotam Singh, Vice President Dr Gagandeep Kaur of Group of State Public Schools along with the Principal, Mrs Savina Bahl and Vice- Principal Mrs Gagandeep Kaur Khaira appreciated the efforts of teachers and students and conveyed their heartfelt message to imbibe cultural values from a young age.They added by saying that celebrations like Teej help children build a strong emotional connection with their heritage. We are proud to nurture such traditions at our school.
