World environment day 2025
The Earth is what we all have in common.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the students of State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt., from UKG to Class 8, enthusiastically participated in a sapling plantation drive held within the school premises. Under the able guidance of their dedicated mentors, students planted saplings in different areas of the school, spreading a strong message of environmental awareness and responsibility.
To deepen their understanding, students were also educated about the significance of the environment and simple yet effective ways to conserve it — such as reducing plastic use, saving water, and planting more trees. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, the young minds were inspired to become responsible caretakers of Mother Earth.
The President Dr Narotam Singh, Vice President, Dr Gagandeep Kaur of Group of State Public Schools along with the Principal, Mrs Savina Bahl and Vice Principal, Mrs Gagandeep Kaur Khaira conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of students and staff and emphasized that nurturing environmental values at a young age is the key to building a greener and healthier tomorrow.
