INTER HOUSE POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

 "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words."

The Inter-House English Poetry Recitation Competition held at State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt was a celebration of expression, creativity, and confidence. Students from Classes 3 to 8 participated with great enthusiasm, recited poems that captivated the audience and judges alike. In a remarkable display of talent, Saanvi from Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House emerged as the winner in Class 3, while Gynavi Joshi from Sahibzada Fateh Singh House secured the top position in Class 4. Class 5 winner was Madhav from Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House. Harnoor Kaur from Sahibzada Ajit Singh House impressed everyone with her performance and won in Class 6. In Class 7, Sanjana Yadav from Sahibzada Fateh Singh House took the first place, and Noorpreet Kaur from Sahibzada Ajit Singh House was declared the winner in Class 8. 

The competition highlighted the students’ remarkable ability to convey emotions and thoughts through poetry, and each winner was applauded for their expressive delivery and stage presence.

The President, Dr Narotam Singh, Vice President Dr Gagandeep Kaur and the Principal Mrs Savina Bahl were immensely proud of these young poets who displayed courage and creativity on stage and congratulated all the participants and winners.
