Seminar on Menstrual Hygiene by Rotary club

 "The strongest actions for a woman is to love herself, be herself, and shine amongst those who never believed she could."

State Public Schools, Jalandhar Cantt. with collaboration with Rotary Club Jalandhar, West organised a seminar for all the strong and beautiful girls of classes 8 to 12 on Menstrual Hygiene.

 The event aimed to educate school girls about the importance of maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation and breaking the stigma associated with it. The program focused on essential aspects of menstrual hygiene, including understanding the mensural cycle, the importance of using clean and safe sanitary products, and the proper disposal of menstrual waste. Experts also addressed common myths and misconceptions related to menstruation.

Renowned expert, Dr. Pooja Kapoor, was the keynote speaker, of Kapoor Child and Bone Hospital provided insightful information on menstrual health and answering questions from the students. The session encouraged open discussions, helping the young girls to feel more confident and comfortable about this natural process. under this campaign sanitary napkins were distributed among girls as a regard.

 It was all possible under the able guidance of President Mr. T.P.S Bajaj and Secretary Mr. Tarsem Singh of Rotary Club Jalandhar, West.

The President and Vice-President of Group of State Public Schools, Dr. Narotam Singh and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur along with Mrs. Savina Bahl, were grateful to the dignitaries for guiding the girls about the core concept of life.
