28th Athlete meet by CBSE

"Today's achievements are the foundation for the future." Achievements are the result of continuous efforts, hard work, determination, and a positive outlook. The students of State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt., have made their school and parents proud by securing a remarkable victory in the 28th Athletic Meet 2024, organized by CBSE at Pratap World School, Pathankot. Among them, Aman Kumar Singh secured first place in the Under-14 800m race, and he also won second place in the Under-14 long jump. Additionally, student Rakhi Kumari secured second place in the javelin throw, and Manpreet Singh secured second place in the Under-17 5000m race.

Aman Kumar Singh has qualified for the Nationals for both the 800m race and long jump, while Rakhi Kumari has qualified in the javelin throw. Also, Manpreet Singh has beautifully qualified for the 5000 mts race for Nationals. Now it will be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from October 6 to October 10, 2024.

The President and Vice President of the Group of State Public Schools, Dr. Narottam and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, along with the school's Principal, Mrs. Savina Bahl, were extremely pleased with this outstanding performance. They congratulated the students for promoting true sportsmanship and making the school proud, wishing them continued success in the world of sports. The sports teachers, Mr. Inderjit and Ms. Harjinder Kaur, played a key role in this great achievement.
