Teachers day celebration

 "A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge and wisdom in the pupils."

Like every year on 5th September, Teachers' Day is celebrated with incredible zeal and enthusiasm by the 'Management of Group of State Public Schools' to commemorate the birth of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, who was a philosopher and a great teacher. Teachers play a major role in moulding their students, responsible citizens and good human beings of tomorrow. Therefore, to express their gratitude, extensive activities were organized on this occasion.On this event, a sumptuous lunch was also arranged for the staff at 'Ramada Hotel' by the management of Group of State Public Schools. On this occasion, President of 'Group of State Public Schools' Dr. Narottam Singh, Vice President Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and Managing Director S. Anmol Singh and Trustees Dr. Ashwini Mahindru and Mrs. Sangeeta Mahindru, Principal of State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. Mrs. Savina Bahl, Principal of State Public School, Shahkot ,Mr. Neel kamal ,Principal of State Public School, Nakodar, Dr. Sonia Sachdeva and Principal of Lakewood School ,Ludhiana , Dr.Ritu Bhanot were present as the chief guest.

The program started with a song dedicated to the great teacher Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan.

Teachers from all these schools made the occasion even more purposeful and entertaining with their presence.

The hall echoed with the loud and sensational performances. Sweet songs, heart-touching dances and thrilling games made the day the best one .Heart-touching dances and thrilling games made the day most memorable for the teachers. Dr.Parvinder Bajaj ,Dr.Ashwini Mahindru ,Mrs.Sangeeta Mahendru and Mr.Gulshan Kumar from Punjab Kesari graced the event with their presence.

Apart from this, lucky draw of up to Rs 50,000 was also conducted on behalf of Group of State Public Schools by President Dr.Narottam Singh and Vice President Dr.Gagandeep Kaur,which further increased the curiosity and enthusiasm of the program.School President Dr.Narottam Singh, Vice President Dr.Gagandeep Kaur and Principal Savina Bahl congratulated the teachers and appreciated the honest efforts of each teacher for the selfless hard work they put in every day.

It was a remarkable day for all the teachers of the State Public School with many unforgettable moments.
