Environment Day Celebration

 “If we surrendered to earth’s intelligence, we could rise up rooted, like trees.”

Human beings are cutting trees and plants due to their selfishness and playing with the natural resources, due to which the environment is being harmed a lot so on the divine eve of World Environment Day State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. arranged a plantation drive where the students participated enthusiastically and showed their love and concern for nature which is the only part and parcel of our survival. They know the fact very well that Mother earth is getting depleted by our actions with each passing day. It's time to reverse the actions and protect it.
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.
The President , Dr. Narotam Singh, Vice-President, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur of Group of State Public Schools and Principal, Mrs. Savina Bahl felt elated to see the children being conscious about the environment . They also shared their warm wishes of 'Happy World Environment Day' and urged everyone to take care of nature in all the best possible ways.
