Earth Day

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the Earth.”

On the precious and preseving day of Earth Day, State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. organised different activities on different levels.

The day started with majestic morning assembly themed on Earth Day. Students presented and demonstrated poem, speech and play to observe this day. Students of kindergarten attired in blue payed their tribute to by learning the importance of Earth and its safety. Classes 1st to 5th participated in the 'Bird Feeder Making' activity and showed their love and concern for the bird, a very valuable part of our eco system. Also, Cycle Rally was also organized to aware the people about how to preserve our motherland. Students of 9th to 12th made compost bin for the garbage to be best used and recycled.

Students at every level showed their marvelous involvement and felt proud to contribute their task in preserving our mother Earth.

The President Sir, Dr. Narotam Singh, Vice-President Madam, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and Principal,Mrs. Savina Bahl showed their concern about this growing issue and appreciated the efforts put up by the students to save and preserve the blue planet.
